The complete source code is on GitHub under GNU AGPL-3.0. Run it on your own VPS, with your own credentials, no payment to us. You lose the managed service, OTA updates, and premium Vertical Packs — but you get a fully functional CRM.
AGPL protects the project from competitors who'd fork and resell without contributing back. The commercial license funds ongoing development by capturing revenue from customers whose use case doesn't fit AGPL (managed multi-tenant, embedding, custom packs).
Same model as Plausible, Posthog, Plane, Cal.com, Mattermost. None of them have been killed by "cockroaches." All thriving.
